TUMAINI T4A EVALUATION Short Title: Tumaini T4A Project
Study Title: Assessing the Effect of SMS-Reminders and Social Media Messaging on Retention and Adherence of Female Sex Workers and Men who have Sex with Men to an HIV Program in Western Kenya.
Coverage: The four IRDO supported DICEs in Siaya County.

Overall goal: To assess whether 2-way SMS reminders and social media (Telegram) messaging will improve honoring of quarterly clinical appointments of FSWs and MSM enrolled in the four DiCEs. This will promote optimal adherence to scheduled clinic appointments and retention of FSWs and MSM at the DiCEs to improve the continuum of HIV prevention and care/treatment within KPs programs.
Study Aims: Assess delivery of 2-way SMS reminders coupled with Social Media/Telegram messaging, is effective in improving adherence of FSWs and MSM to scheduled clinic appointments and uptake of HIV prevention and treatment services at the DiCEs and also monitor the cost of implementing the intervention under routine KPs program settings.
